The fourth edition of the seminal work, Catalysis from A to Z, is now available in its 4th edition. All 4 editions have been edited by leading industrial chemist, Professor Boy Cornils along with a prize winning team of editors. The fourth edition covers homogenous, heterogeneous and biocatalysis with emphasis on new and developing areas of catalysis essential to chemists in the areas of organic and synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and industrial chemistry.

The updated fourth edition of this successful encyclopedia contains 40% more high-quality content from over 300 international experts in four volumes. Comprehensive, succinct, and unrivaled, it includes all the knowledge scientists need with compact entries for some 11,000 keywords in alphabetical order.

Catalysis from A to Z explains briefly the important terms for every aspect of catalysis, whether biocatalysis, homogeneous catalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, or such related topics as spectroscopy or analytical methods. These also include abbreviations, brief biographic entries of important scientists who have worked in catalysis, trade names, important catalytic processes, named reactions, reactions, and other important keywords in the general field of catalysis. German and French translations are included to help non-native English speakers.
